Refresher training with indigo vats

December 2020

We have been undergoing an improvement training for 14 days in the workshop of David Santandreu, a master dyer with a long experience in natural dyes and indigo.

This training has been based primarily on traditional Japanese sukumo vatss, fermented cake (woad) vats, fermented indigo from North Africa, as well as other traditional dyeing techniques.

During this time we have assembled 4 tanks of 200 and 80 liters and we have participated in the daily evolution of the vats.

We have also created a sample of French-produced textiles in each vat and we have worked together with David Santandreu on a collection of fabrics designed by us.
